Cancun, Mexico - The Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL) recently announced that Kenneth Johnson, Mexico Field Manager of CORAL, has been selected to fill the newly created role of CORAL Mesoamerican Regional Manager.

"Kenneth's years of outstanding field service, vision, and success in realizing conservation outcomes in Mexico made this a natural decision," said Rick MacPherson, Director of Conservation Programs at CORAL. "This new role is in keeping with CORAL's long-term goals of placing project oversight, management, and autonomy fully within each project site and region."

As CORAL's new Mesoamerican Regional Manager, Johnson will serve as a consolidated support personnel for all of CORAL's Mesoamerica project sites, which include Mexico, Belize, and Honduras. The new role will provide greater regional oversight and support to each site's coral reef conservation objectives, partners, and tools.
