The Bahamas National Trust has a library of downloadable fact sheets that includes coral reef animals and ecology (with some focus on the Bahamas), as well as an education section with teacher resources, children's games and in-country resources.

The Bridge is a collection of online marine education resources featuring a number of ocean science lesson plans, including Coral Bleaching (grades 9 - 12) and Coral Snapshots (grades 8-12), as well as marine education resources for professional development, student guidance, and more.

CoralWatch has published a purchasable comprehensive guide on coral reefs and climate change, suitable for older students and adults. The guide comes with an activity CD. The site also offers education packs, classroom activities, and field activities.

Enchanted Learning provides labeled diagrams of coral reef animals suitable for classrooms.

The Exploring the Environment website has a module on coral reefs designed for grades 7 - 12. It includes extensive information, challenge activities, a glossary, and related links.

The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary has an education section with information about coral reefs and associated habitats, as well as education programs for local residents.

The Hawaii Division of Aquatic Resources provides Hawaii-specific educational resources including posters, activity books, and educational programs.

The Manta Pacific Research Foundation presents in-depth information about manta rays in their education section.

The Marine Education Trust has produced a series of educational activities for teenagers (with accompanying educators' notes) in English, French and Malagasy covering different tropical marine habitats and the associated conservation concerns. Downloads are free, although registration is required.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a Fun & Learning section devoted to children and teachers, including homework help, games, Web cams, and animal guides.

The National Aquarium in Baltimore offers a teacher guide (PDF, 2 MB) about coral reefs that includes background information and activities for grades 5 – 8.

National Geographic provides lesson plans and other teacher resources about oceans, with some sections on coral reefs. Lessons cover K – 12.
