Join the CORAL Volunteer Community

Volunteering with CORAL at our Oakland headquarters is a great way to support the protection of coral reefs and to learn more about marine conservation efforts worldwide. In exchange for contributing your time and sharing your talents, you’ll learn new skills, interact with conservation specialists, make a real difference for our planet and have fun in the process.

Please do note that we do not currently offer any field volunteering or a structured volunteer program. However, for those interested in lending time, skills and resources to support CORAL’s mission on an ad-hoc basis, we kindly ask you to complete our CORAL Volunteer Information & Contact Form.

We will keep your information on file and should an opportunity arise, reach out to the appropriate individuals with the appropriately self-identified skill set.

If you have any questions about volunteering for CORAL, please email us at info@coral.org.

Thank you in advance for your support and for helping to save coral reefs.

Please Note:
  • You must be at least 15 years old to volunteer at CORAL.
  • At this time, CORAL is unable to accept volunteers or interns for our program sites worldwide.
  • CORAL is unable to assist with visa applications or to offer housing or stipends for international volunteers.
