Halae is a project manager and proposal writer with over 10 years of experience in international development. Before joining CORAL, she worked on a wide range of environmental programs around the world focused on community-led conservation and climate resilience, including strengthening marine protected areas and sustainable fisheries management. At CORAL, Halae leads the institutional grant strategy to grow and sustain our programs and partnerships at a critical time for ocean and coral reef conservation. She holds an MA in International Affairs from Columbia and is an avid scuba diver, travel buff, and book lover.
