But these tourists also place a huge strain on Mexico&#8217;s natural resources, including its beautiful coral reefs. We work with government and collaborative partners throughout Mexico, and in key places like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/coral.org\/en\/where-we-work\/mesoamerican-region\/mexico\/cozumel\/\">Cozumel<\/a>, to build resilient communities and promote water quality monitoring to keep coral reefs and human communities healthy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer is-style-large\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns reverse-responsive is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building resilient communities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Our work in Mexico is a balance of effective resource management and innovative strategies for sustainable tourism.
