Kehau Kimokeo
Maui Nui Community Engagement Coordinator
Kehau is a community connector, cultural practitioner, and environmental advocate with a lifelong love for Hawaiʻi’s land and sea. With over three decades of experience in conservation woven with cultural preservation, and education, she brings both heart and strategy to every project she touches. With her BAS in Sustainable Science Management and a Master’s in Education (STEMS² Curriculum Development), Kehau has built her career on uniting science, culture, and community. She has led marine mammal protection efforts, developed culturally grounded curriculum, and coordinated outreach that inspires action from keiki to kūpuna. Kehau continues her journey of protecting our oceans, strengthening community ties, and ensuring that the voices of Hawaiʻi guide the future of Hawai’i’s sustainability.
