This month, our team welcomes Heidi Myers as the new Director of Finance and Operations for CORAL.
Along with a love for the ocean, Myers brings more than 25 years of financial and operational experience in multiple sectors. She has dedicated recent years to NGO projects in both Haiti and Uganda, and is now excited to bring her scope of international knowledge to CORAL.
“There is so much value in protecting coral reefs,” says Myers. “With that said, I’m motivated to combine my professional experiences with my lifelong passion for the ocean.” Along with her memorable snorkel experiences in Cozumel, Mexico, Myers’ determination is also largely inspired by her granddaughter and ensuring there is a healthy ocean for her to enjoy in the future.
Looking toward 2022, we are confident that Myers’ skill set, extensive work experience, and interest in marine ecosystems will bring CORAL’s strategic plan to the next level and lead our team to success.
