Save the Waves empowers citizen scientists to record coral reef threats. Organizations such as Reef Check Malaysia are partnering with Save the Waves to geotag locations with bleaching.

eOceans Heat Wave created a Global Pulse series, which includes Heatwave Impacts – Corals, a project aimed at documenting coral bleaching by citizen scientists.

The Coral Bleaching Field Survey app led by the Australian Institute of Marine Science is a field app used to measure coral bleaching in northern Australia.

The Eye on the Reef app , led by the Great Barrier Reef Authority (GBRMPA) is powered by citizen scientists who report bleaching, disease in GBR (presence/absence) and other threats in the GBR. Check out this video to learn more about it!
